Active Single Coil Guitar Pickup

Get ready to rock!!! For those of you that are not familiar with active guitar electronics, these pickups are powered by a standard 9v battery (1 battery should last you about 2000 playing hours and is only drained when your guitar is plugged in).
The power from the 9v battery is used to power a tiny Active Internal Preamp built inside the pickup (in the case of these pickups, the preamp increases sustain, adds depth, and enhances overall response sensitivity. They actually have more power and output than most standard humbuckers, yet they still have the classic tone of a Single Coil. These pickups are driven by Anisotropic Ferrite Magnets (a High-end Ceramic), and each pickup is also Epoxy Potted to control unwanted noise and feedback. Your pickup will come to you, along with a Wiring Diagram to show you how to hook them up. Like with all other active pickups, it is recommended that you use Control Pots rated at 25k, if you need some we have them available Here.
